Dear Members
I would like to thank all those members and friends of the Association who attended last Friday’s Sydney Anzac Day March. Despite the rain I believe the day was a great success.
Also, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Gary Smith and Bob Duggan for the initial concept/suggestion of having the Corps Banner being paraded in the Sydney Anzac Day March to help celebrate the Unit’s 100 years on the Order of Battle.
From a situation in October last year where we were denied the use of the Banner, to be able to have it paraded last Friday is due to the outstanding efforts of WO2 Damien Lord the Training WO, 3 Transport Sqn to whom we are most grateful. Also, a vote of thanks goes to our Patron, Col Michael Miller for all his efforts with HOC Directorate in Canberra, OC 3 Transport, Major Errol Christian, The Banner Party and members of 3 Transport Sqn and 176 AD Sqn for a magnificent display in providing the Guard for the Princess Royal Banner.
As the Anzac Day March is transmitted to 32% of the viewing public within the Asia Pacific Region by the ABC, the efforts of a few has achieved good publicity for the Unit and the Corps.
Yours sincerely,
Kevin Connelly
President

Urgent Message for All Members
A situation came up at Bill Williams funeral where his local RSL did not mention his military service.
Several of our members attended the funeral but did not have Bill's service details.
It is requested that all members submit a brief detail of their service which could be used at funeral services.
If you look at the Service Page you could use Kevin Connelly's as a guide
Please send these in ASAP.
